Return & Exchange Policy

At UsedAutoPartsJunkyard, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective part, we are here to help.

Please review our Return & Exchange Policy carefully before making a purchase.


Return Eligibility

Returns may be accepted within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The wrong part was shipped.

  • The part arrived damaged.

  • The part is defective and covered under our warranty.

  • The item received does not match the order description.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be returned in the same condition as received.

  • Include all original labels, markings, and identification tags.

  • Not be altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged after delivery.

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Parts damaged due to improper installation.

  • Parts modified or altered after delivery.

  • Electrical components that have been installed or programmed.

  • Special-order or custom-requested items.

  • Parts damaged by misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper maintenance.

  • Items returned without prior authorization.


Return Authorization Required

Before returning any item, customers must contact us and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Returns sent without authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.


Exchange Policy

If an incorrect or defective part is received, we may offer:

  • Replacement with the correct part.

  • Exchange for a similar available item.

  • Store credit.

  • Refund, when a replacement is unavailable.

All exchanges are subject to inventory availability.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong part:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Provide photos of the item and packaging.

  • Retain all packaging materials until the claim is reviewed.

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may affect claim eligibility.


Return Shipping

If the return is due to our error, including:

  • Incorrect item shipped

  • Defective part

  • Shipping damage

we may provide return shipping instructions at no additional cost.

For all other approved returns, the customer may be responsible for return shipping expenses.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is caused by our mistake.


Inspection & Refund Processing

All returned items are inspected upon arrival.

Once approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.


Restocking Fee

Approved returns that are not the result of our error may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price.

Any applicable restocking fee will be disclosed during the return authorization process.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment.

If an order has already been processed, packaged, or shipped, cancellation may not be possible and standard return procedures will apply.


Limitation of Liability

UsedAutoPartsJunkyard is not responsible for:

  • Labor costs

  • Installation expenses

  • Diagnostic charges

  • Rental vehicle costs

  • Towing fees

  • Loss of use

  • Any incidental or consequential damages
